Scarlet Ibis
The most colorful of all ibis species, the slender-billed scarlet ibis is native to South America.
Chicks are born gray and gradually turn pink during their first year of life. Just like flamingos, adults require carotene in their diet to maintain their color.

Within Amazonia is a lush rainforest walk with more than 350 species of plants, including 50-foot-tall trees, tropical vines, and epiphytes. This habitat is also home to free ranging Goeldi's monkeys, tanagers, cardinals, and many species of fish, reptiles, and amphibians.

Dusky Titi Monkey
The dusky titi monkey inhabits Brazil, Bolivia, Peru, and other South American countries. A male and female titi monkey share very strong bonds, huddling together to sleep on groups of thick branches. The pair residing in Amazonia are brother and sister.
